Nigeria’s Waidi “Skoro” Usman is billed to go against Michael “Shaka” Nyawade of Kenya for the African Boxing Union featherweight title at the 14th edition of the Gotv boxing night which will be held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos, on April 14.

On the same night, Nigeria’s Rilwan ‘Babyface’ Babatunde will aim for the West African Boxing Union welterweight title when he goes against Djossou “Agoy” Basile of the Republic of Benin.

Also lined up are national lightweight and national cruiser weight title fights. Prince Lion Nwoye will be challenging Oto JoeBoy Joseph while Kehinde Ijoba Badmus will face Rilwan Real One Oladosun for the National lightweight title.

The national cruiser weight challenge bout will be between Ramon Razak and Abiodun Infinity Finito Afinni while first timers Chukwuebuka Wiseman Ezeugo and Semiu Jagaban will go against each other.

For the national light weight bout, Suleiman Olaks Adepoju will go against Majesty Maduka. In all, there will seven bouts – five national and two international.

NAIJ.com gathered that the best boxer at the event will go home with N1 million cash prize and the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy. Also, a fourth African champions from Nigeria can emerge on the night as the West African giants have in previous editions produced three African champions.
