Libya signs border control agreement with southern neighbouring countries

Libya has signed an agreement with its southern neighboring countries Niger, Chad and Sudan to safe the joint border towards human and guns smuggling.

To control and safe Libya’s sea and land borders and to give a boost to cooperation on joint border control, the 4-method agreement used to be signed on Thursday within the capital of Chad N’Djamena, the tips administrative center of the Libyan top minister stated in a remark on Friday.

Libyan Overseas Minister Mohamed Sayala, who signed the agreement, stated it “enriches the unique family members among the 4 countries, and stressed out Libya’s keenness to enhance all efforts to struggle terrorism, transnational arranged crime, smuggling of a wide variety, unlawful migration, mercenaries, palms smuggling, and smuggling of a wide variety of sponsored commodities and petroleum derivatives.”
